We adore you O Christ and we praise you. For by your holy cross you have redeemed the world. 

I look at this station as a mother. 

Something I find myself doing often while taking care of my baby is wondering what Mary felt like as she cared for hers. The normal everyday actions of changing diapers, nursing, and cuddling were all prayer, just by the nature of Who she was doing it for. 

I'm not sure what prayer it was to hold His dead body after it was taken down from the cross, but I know it must have been. I sincerely hope it's a prayer I never have to learn.
