Dancing Rattlesnakes

Very appropriate for St. Patrick's Day. 

My Dad, who works for a building permit office, was doing field work today and came across two diamondback rattlesnakes dancing together in a field. He was lucky enough to capture some pictures. 

I never knew the mating ritual of a Texas diamondback rattlesnake was that romantic. They really are beautiful creatures in their way. 

To be clear, they're also why you don't go walking around in tall grass around here.
